Since following Michelle’s Nutrition for life program I have learned to leave the diet mentality behind that has been ingrained in me my entire adult life. I have learned how to incorporate macronutrients to nourish my body and burn fat efficiently. This is a lifestyle for nutrition and wellness and not a diet. Since following this lifestyle my total cholesterol went from 193 last year to 163 this year. Actually all my blood work numbers were excellent and the doctor was very pleased and told me to keep doing what I was doing. I encourage anyone struggling to reach out to Michelle for her expertise.

I’m 57 years of age. I’ve been on many different diets since I was in my twenties. They all worked short term. I was never able to maintain the weight loss after exiting a program. After I hit 40, nothing I had tried in the past worked beyond 5-10 pounds and after I gave up that weight came back plus more. I found something called macros 3 years ago and began studying about it and using it on my own. One huge mistake I made? I neglected the last part of the compound word, nutrients. Hey Michelle! I just HAD to text you! I started following you and trying to learn macros July 25th 2021...I took my measurements to send to you to have you do my macros...then I really went to work! I took my measurements on July 18th 2022 and figured it up! I have lost 21.91 inches altogether!!!!! 4.68 just in my waist!!!! HAVE I TOLD YOU THAT I LOVE YOU!!!!

I’m a “why” person. I knew I wanted to pursue eating using Macros and had some initial success but I wanted to know how and why macros worked. I had been calculating how many of each macro (proteins, carbs, fat) I needed per day but the game changer for me was when Michelle taught me how and why I should be balancing PER MEAL! The information about glucose intolerance, what to do prior to eating celebration foods, how and why it’s necessary to stop dieting using low fat, no carb diets, how to include additional protein in each meal, how to gradually change how I eat balanced meals, quality foods vs, junk macronutrients, how to find acceptable foods while traveling ALL are things she teaches that I hadn’t found available prior to her program. And I can tell you because I’ve researched, her coaching and training programs are more personal, more targeted for each person’s issues, more valuable with less investment over longer period of time than ANY other program I have found. Do I get lazy and off track at times, yes. But you just pick up where you left off and go again. Michelle gives you the tools and puts you in the driver’s seat so you can be confident that you’ll succeed when you put the work in. She’s the best!

What an absolute god send it was to have had my first chat with Michelle just about 7 months. I was diagnosed with Type 2 DM in Feb 2023 and enrolled in a physician directed program for weight loss and management thru my employer. They gave me an eating plan and told me to stick to 30gms of carbs per day. Although I did manage to lose 50 pounds that year, I was absolutely miserable and still did not have a clue why they couldn’t answer my questions as to the Y with the very low carbs. I found Michelle. I get it now. My body needs carbohydrates, fat and protein at every single meal in order for my body to control my blood sugars and to get adequate nutrients . I am no longer afraid to eat those carbohydrates just remembering that I have to add the appropriate amounts of fat and protein as well. I am in her study group right now for eight weeks. Going slow in the program is absolutely the best way to get through it and to have a good understanding of how these nutrients affect your body as well as maintaining a good blood sugar throughout the day. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart Michelle. P.S- I have two sets of pictures that I have sent Michele so far. I really see a difference in the way my waist and hip looks from the back.
